Pu-Erh Tea Brick, Menghai Tea Factory, 1980s (Ripe/Shou)

This brick is made in 1980's.  It is a rare aged tea brick from China's largest Pu-Erh tea factory - Menghai Tea Factory.  The tea was kept in Hong Kong for almost 15 years. Daniel bought this tea in year 2002.  And it has been well kept in Vancouver for almost 10 years.  The leaf is in medium size with dark color.  The soup is black and clear.  This tea has substantial body with a soft. smooth. and creamy texture.  It has woody and mushroom flavor.  A perfect tea for shou Pu-Erh drinkers. The full brick is originally 250grams.
